About Me
About Natalie vink-chubko
Since childhood, she was fond of art, so she started drawing at the age of six. Natalya studied at an art school for five years, after which she graduated from the Lviv College of Decorative-Applied Arts, majoring in “Art Design”. In 2004, she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Volyn National University. Since 2015, Natalia has also been working as an art therapist. Now lives and works in the city of Hengelo, the Netherlands.

Each painting has its own history and meaning, combines impressionism, abstraction, modern art and radiates a special energy.

My slogan is: “Art heals souls”
I, Natalia Vink-Chubko, impressionist artist. Through my work, I explore themes of self-discovery, freedom, and authenticity. Most of my works are created to evoke emotions and make the viewer think about the meaning of life. Many years of experience of the art therapist also influenced the creation of paintings that decorate not only the interior space, but also have a beneficial effect on the viewer’s emotional state, bringing bright colors and harmony into his life.
I moved to the Netherlands when the war in Ukraine started. I was stressed. The enemy was turning my country into ruins, where there was no room for joy and only hopeless darkness from which there seemed to be no way out. But the amazing country of Holland began to heal me with its natural beauty. Step by step every day I started drawing again and showing my emotions to the world.

Fascination with contrasts and interplay of forms is a powerful driving force in my work. The combination of warm and cold colors, textured and smooth areas, hard and soft transitions gives the works depth and dynamism, involving the viewer in the game of balance and tension.
For several years, I have been working in the impasto technique with acrylic paints, I create volume and texture with strokes, giving the image dynamics. In this way, I create an emotional mood as a background and emphasize the vitality of nature. I often experiment with styles and textures, allowing colors, lines and shapes to develop organically. This gives the painting a sense of spontaneity and movement.
